No; with the exception of a small selection of basic work forms, Q's designs and prints each job entirely custom to your individual needs. We encourage customers to provide us with examples or ideas of what they would like to see in their designs, but even the unsure customer can rest easy knowing they will be provided with proofs and included in each step of the design process.

How will I receive my proof?

Our standard proofing process includes e-mailing a .pdf document to the e-mail address provided at the time of ordering. If you do not have access to an e-mail address, or if you would like to see a printed version of your proof, you may also come visit us and proof the design in person.

I already have a file I'd like printed. What's the best way to get it to you?

If you already have a file ready to print, you can e-mail it to us at [email protected]. Please include any relevant job details in your e-mail (such as number of copies, print size, date or time needed, etc.) along with your name and contact information.

Alternatively, feel free to bring the file in personally on a USB flash drive.

What is the best format for my file?

For a finished, straight-to-print piece, we prefer PDFs. Sending a Publisher or Word document invites the risk of losing your formatting, especially if you use a font we do not have installed on our computers. Saving your documents as .pdf files ensures that when we open the file on our end, we are seeing it exactly as you saved it from yours.

The colors look strange on my proof. Is this how it will print?

Although the colors of a digital proof and a printed product will always vary slightly, please keep in mind that viewing your proof on a tablet or smart phone could drastically change the colors you see. For more accurate color representation, please view your proofs from a computer's monitor.

If you are concerned about how the colors will appear once printed, you may come in to view a printed proof and ensure you are approving the product exactly as you see it.

How long will my job take?

The amount of time needed for any given job depends on a number of factors, including how long it takes to reach an approved design, how many copies are bring printed, and how many other steps your product must go through to reach completion (e.g. cutting, perforating, numbering, etc). In general, most basic jobs are complete and ready to pick up in under a week.

But I need this printed today! I leave town for a convention tomorrow!
